How to spot them
Buttons such as "Try Claude" or "Visit site" go through a short link on our domain (for example /go/claude/) before sending you to the tool. Any of those links may be an affiliate link. Pages that contain them show a short notice near the top.
What commissions don't change
- Which tools we recommend, or in what order.
- Review scores, pros and cons.
- Whether we cover a tool at all. Plenty of our top picks pay us nothing.
Sponsored listings
Companies can pay for a featured spot in our tools directory or newsletter. Paid placements are always labelled "Sponsored". They never affect guides or review scores.
